XIX Triatlo Internacional de Quarteira, Prof. Carlos Gravata 2020

Nos dias 4 e 5 de abril realiza-se o XIX Triatlo Internacional de Quarteira Carlos Gravata que recebe a Taça da Europa (júnior e elite) e a Taça de Portugal (terceira etapa), uma das mais participadas do calendário nacional, que promete agitar mais uma vez as águas da praia de Quarteira.

No dia 04 de abril, pelas 13h45, dar-se-á a partida da elite feminina, uma prova disputada na distância standard que incluirá a participação das melhores atletas da modalidade. No mesmo dia, às 16h30, será a vez da prova da elite masculina, uma competição que conta com diversas nacionalidades, e que já nos habituou a um elevado nível competitivo. Nas provas de elite, os atletas irão percorrer 1500 metros a nadar, 40km de um ciclismo técnico e fisicamente exigente, finalizando com 10km de corrida.

A prova conta com excelentes condições para os atletas em todos os segmentos, apresentando também um dos melhores cenários para receber apoio do entusiástico público.

On 4th and 5th April, the 19th International Triathlon of Quarteira Carlos Gravata will take place, which will host the European Cup (junior and elite) and the Portuguese Cup (third phase), one of the most participated in the national calendar, which promises to shake up the waters of Quarteira beach.

On 04th April, at 01:45 p.m., the female elite will start, a competition disputed in the standard distance that will include the participation of the best athletes in the sport. On the same day, at 04:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the male elite, a competition that has several nationalities, with a high competitive level. In the elite competitions, athletes will swim 1.500 meters, with 40 km of technical and physically demanding cycling and they will run 10 km.

The event has excellent conditions for the athletes in all segments, also presenting one of the best scenes to receive support from the enthusiastic public.
