Estes Aracnídeos de oito patas, alguns com quatro pares de olhos e quelíceras/ferrões venenosos nunca nos deixam indiferentes, seja por curiosidade, receio, ou encanto…
A exposição ARANEUS conta com cerca de 40 destes exemplares vivos, em terrários fechados de vidro, que permitem serem fotografados ou filmados a uma distância próxima e segura.


Descrições detalhadas sobre cada espécie, assim como esclarecimentos por parte dos monitores, oferecem a possibilidade única de confrontar os nossos estereótipos com a realidade sobre a sua ecologia e biologia, destacando o importante papel destes animais nos ecossistemas, desde uma das aranhas mais venenosas do mundo a Viúvanegra-Australiana (Latrodectus hasselti) à maior espécie de todas a tarântula- Golias ( Theraphosa Blondi).
Convidamo-los a visitar a nossa exposição ARANEUS que estará patente no Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve-Faro até início de Janeiro 2019 e também desfrutar da sua exposição científica permanente e interactiva sobre os ecossistemas da região.
Para os mais curiosos e corajosos existe a possibilidade de interagirem com um exemplar vivo, caso haja condições.

These eight-legged, sometimes with four pairs and venomous chelicerae never leave us indifferent, either out of curiosity, fear or charm...

At the ARANEUS exhibition you will find 40 live specimens held in glass terrariums, that will allow to photograph and film them from a very close distance. Detailed descriptions of each species, as well as rich explanations give us unique opportunity to confront our stereotypes with the reality of their ecology and biology, emphasizing the important role of these animals in ecosystems, from one of the most poisonous spiders in the world (Latrodectus hasselti) to the largest species of all tarantula - Goliath (Theraphosa Blondi).

We invite you to our ARANEUS exhibition, which that is being presented at the Algarve Live Science Center until January 2019, that also hosts permanent and interactive scientific exhibition on the region's ecosystems.
There is a possibility of holding the spider (without any extra payment) assisted by out professional employee!
