3º Festival de Guitarra de Lagoa

Bem vindos ao 3º Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Lagoa. Procurámos criar, este ano, um programa que legitime a vontade de fazer expandir as fronteiras da guitarra que, pela sua versatilidade, se pode fundir num diversificado conjunto de sonoridades, géneros e culturas musicais, proporcionando um dinamismo envolvente que conjuga a cultura mais tradicional com a prática artística mais contemporânea.

Uma das preocupações mais prementes do nosso Festival é promover, despertar e impulsionar a capacidade criadora das futuras gerações.
Deste modo, contamos, este ano, com três estágios de aperfeiçoamento técnico-instrumental (masterclasses) protagonizados por José Carlos Matos, Martin Taylor, Alison Burns e o Trio Les Kostards bem como, o momento a que chamámos de “A guitarra vai à escola” e a apresentação da peça de teatro infantil “A guitarra e a formiga” apresentados por Bruno Batista.

Welcome to the 3rd International Guitar Festival of Lagoa. We sought to create this year, a program that legitimizes the will to expand the guitar borders, which for its versatility, can merge into a diverse set of sounds, genres and musical cultures, providing an engaging dynamism that combines the most traditional culture with the more contemporary art form.
In contemporary society, the concept and recognition of culture as a global engine of development of human consciousness is for us the starting point for the initiative of the Festival.

Basically, finding the willingness to listen to the sounds of the guitar, lead us to one or all paths to inner freedom allowing you to recreate and contemplate.
Finally, music, food and wine were always good companions because flavour and knowledge are made from the same poetry of music: pleasure, emotion, creative talent and love. So, during the break, do not forget to taste the flavours of traditional Algarvian food and wine.
Your good taste in music is likely to reflect on your refined palate! We hope you enjoy it...
