Recital de canto lírico e piano Isobel Barton Reis e Raquel Correia. O Recital consiste numa viagem musical que percorre Arias Antigas e Romanticas até ao ciclo de canções "Frauenlibe und Leben" de Robert Schumann.

Baseado nos poemas de Chamisso, oferecidas ao compositor dois meses antes do seu casamento com a celebre pianista Clara Wieck, Schumann abordou com grande mestria musical os oito temas do ciclo que assumem a voz de uma mulher e descrevem o seu amor pelo esposo, lembrando o primeiro encontro, passando pelo matrimonio, o primeiro filho, até a morte do marido.

The recital takes us on a musical journey through Arie Antiche and arias form the Romantic period up until Robert Schumann s song cycle" Frauenliebe und leben". Based on the poems of Chamisso, given to the composer just two months before his wedding with the celebrated pianist Clara Wieck, Schumann addressed the eight songs of the cycle with great mastery which take on the voice of a woman and describe her love for her husband, recalling her very first meeting with her future spouse, the marriage, their first child and eventually the death of her husband.
