2º Festival Internacional de Música do Guadiana - Alcoutim

Durante 3 dias o Festival na sua segunda edição terá lugar nos cais da vila de Alcoutim e conta com a presença de artistas nacionais e internacionais proporcionando aos visitantes os mais variados estilos de música:
O evento começa, dia 24 outubro as 18:30 horas, com um concerto de Música Clássica (Kate Sawdek, Violin - Paul Corbett, Violin - Bob Sawdek, piano) na Casa dos Condes.
Segue as 20:30 horas nos cais a abertura do festival pelo Presidente da Câmara de Alcoutim.

The Idle Poor, um casal da margem espanhola do rio com música diversa de blues, jazz, rock ...

O festival encerra com um dia de diversão e convívio para todos: Um grande barbecue e piquenique com sessão de "microfone aberto" onde esperamos a participação de muitos músicos criando um ambiente descontraido e de alegria. > contactos / localização veja na pagina do evento

2nd Guadiana International Music festival on the 24th, 25th and 26th of October. The Quay, Alcoutim, Algarve Portugal.

The event start at 18:30 with a Classical performance in the Casa Conde Alcoutim with Kate Sawdek, (Violin), Paul Corbett, (Violin) and Bob Sawdek, (piano).
We then move to the Quay side Alcoutim and at 20:30 the Mayor will open the Festival.

The Guadiana Sundowners performing the big Alcoutim summer hit “Hey Cheeky Monkey”  >  see in YouTube
Goncalo, a popular local young musician playing and singing many of his own songs and hits.
Scot and friends, a collection of musicians from visiting boats on the river guadiana.
Alentejo Singers, again a local group singing traditional Portuguse music.
The Idle Poor. A couple from the Spanish side of the river singing and playing blues, light jazz, light rock plus a bit of country and folk.
Ending with a full set from The Guadiana Sundowners.

Saturday starts on the quay at 20:00 with:
João -guitar(acoustic) &  vocals; Teresa -vocals; Norberto -cajón. A portuguese group from Faro who were a real hit last year.
Alcoutin Experimental Theater group:   4 songs from one of their shows.
The Idle Poor, return for a second night
Azuk d kna: A Spanish group from Huelva with flamenco.

Allmariados, A group from Vila Real who are always full of bounce and energy will be taking us into the small hours.

Sunday , this is the fun day for everyone. A Bbq starts at 13:00 with an open mic session at 13:00 where we hope performers will mix together and come up with fantastic music. Its our “Music Jam Sandwich”

All weekend Peter Dalby will be doing an "Introduction to Jazz Chords Guitar Workshop", cost €5 per session.
