MARTINHAL TRIATLO - Um desafio até ao “fim do mundo”

O Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel vai receber o primeiro triatlo Martinhal, no dia 26 de Outubro de 2014! Em parceria com a Algarve Triathlon, iremos organizar o triatlo Sprint (750m de natação no mar, 20km de ciclismo e 5km de corrida) e o Olympic (1,5Km de natação no mar, 40km de ciclismo e 10km de corrida) no Martinhal. A prova será supervisionada pela Federação de Triatlo de Portugal.
A participação poderá ser individual ou em equipa/estafeta, em ambos os triatlos. Não é necessário que os participantes sejam federados, todos os participantes terão seguro através da Federação Portuguesa.
A prova terá lugar no Martinhal Beach Resort em Sagres. A natação no mar realizar-se-á na praia do Martinhal, a corrida será á volta do Resort e o ciclismo levará os participantes através da encantadora vila piscatória de Sagres, passando pela Fortaleza de Sagres e Forte do Beliche até ao Farol do Cabo de S. Vicente – no ponto mais sudoeste da Europa!

The Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel will be hosting its first-ever Martinhal Triathlon on 26th October 2014! In cooperation with Algarve Triathlons will be doing a Sprint Triathlon (750m swim in the sea, 20km bike and 5km run) as well as an Olympic Triathlon (1.5km swim in the sea, 40km bike and 10km run) at Martinhal. The race will be controlled by Portuguese Triathlon Federation.
Participation can be individual or team/ relay for both sprint and Olympic discipline and no federation membership is required. All participants will be insured through the Portuguese Federation.
The Race Venue is located at Martinhal Beach Resort, Sagres. The sea swimming will take place at Martinhal Beach. The run will take place around the resort. The bicycle route will take participants through the village of Sagres along a route past the historical Fortress of Sagres, and Fort of Beliche, to the lighthouse at the Cape of St. Vincent – located at the Southwestern-most point in Europe
