Ciclo Músicas Mundi - Fad`Nu

Fad` Nu, um projecto que vive da cumplicidade intimista que nasce do diálogo cénico e musical entre a cantora e o guitarrista, personagens fulcrais e identificadoras do género reconhecido como Fado.

Com evidentes ligações à tradição, apresenta-se no entanto como uma opção livre de dogmas e aberta aos novos caminhos da globalização artística. Poesia com sumo, música com garra e palco com alma, são ingredientes que dão unidade a um espetáculo que pretende não só dar ao fado uma roupagem diferente da tradicional, como também trazer para o fado coisas que nunca lá estiveram. É neste sentido que se abrem portas aos grandes poetas e trovadores da língua portuguesa, alargando e descobrindo novos repertórios e estabelecendo pontes e afinidades entre diferentes géneros e raízes culturais. Fad`Nu não tem credos nem fronteiras, tal como a música e a poesia encontra a sua verdade e a sua essência na descoberta de um caminho aberto, que se reinventa a cada novo passo.

Fad´Nu (Naked Fado): "Take off from Fado music everything that can be undressed, leaving only the guitar and the voice." The Project lives of the intimate complicity that is born of the scenic and musical dialogue between the singer and the guitarist, essential characters and identifiers from the sort recognized as Fado music. Very much linked to the tradition, it is presented however as an option free of dogmas and opened to the new ways of the artistic globalization. Juicy poetry, strong music and soul as performance, are the ingredients that unite a show that not only intends to give Fado a different view of the traditional one, as well as to bring to Fado things that had never been there. It is in this direction that the doors open to the great poets of the Portuguese language, widening and discovering new repertoires and establishing bridges and affinities between different sorts and cultural roots. Fad´Nu does not have creeds or borders, just as music and poetry find their truth and their essence in the discovery of an opened way, which is reinvented on each new step.
