Festival "Os Dias do JAZZ" em Faro
O Festival "Os Dias do JAZZ" volta a estar em destaque em Faro no mês de maio. A quarta edição do festival vai decorrer entre os dias 11 e 20, com uma programação diversificada, que propõe espetáculos e abordagens bastante distintas a este género musical, que prometem surpreender o público, em locais improváveis da cidade.
O concerto de abertura junta o Trio Jazz de Loulé e Mário Laginha no Teatro das Figuras. Nos dias 12 e 13, o Club Farense. recebe o festival com as atuações do Marco Martins Quartet e de Zé Eduardo que, neste concerto convida o saxofonista Ricardo Toscano.
No dia 17 de maio o recém-recuperado Palácio Belmarço, recebe um concerto intimista do duo de guitarristas Mano a Mano e no dia 18 o festival volta ao Teatro das Figuras, com o concerto imperdível de Jaques Morelenbaum CelloSambaTrio com a participação especial de Paula Morelenbaum.
O concerto de encerramento permite ao público o raro privilégio de assistir a um concerto de Norberto Lobo com Yaw Tembe, Marco Franco e Ricardo Jacinto, no pátio do Seminário Episcopal de Faro, em pleno coração da Vila Adentro.
Jazz is featured once again in Faro, during the month of May. The fourth edition of the Os Dias do JAZZ festival will take place between the 11th and the 20th, with a diversified program, which proposes very different shows and approaches to this musical genre, that promise to surprise the public in unlikely places in the city.
The opening concert joins the Loulé Jazz Trio and Mário Laginha at the Teatro das Figuras. On the 12th and 13th, Club Farense hosts the festival with performances by Marco Martins Quartet and Zé Eduardo, who invites saxophonist Ricardo Toscano to this concert.
On May 17, the newly recovered Palacio Belmarço receives an intimate concert of the Mano a Mano guitar duo and on the 18th, the festival returns to the Teatro das Figuras, with the unforgettable concert by Jaques Morelenbaum and his Cello Sambatrio, with the special participation of Paula Morelenbaum.
The closing concert allows the public the rare privilege of attending a concert by Norberto Lobo, in the courtyard of the Episcopal Seminary of Faro, in the heart of the historical Vila a Dentro.
